Ian Foster New Head Coach Of The All Blacks

New Zealand Rugby Union has confirmed today that Ian Foster will be the new head coach for the All Blacks.

Ian Foster 54 year old has won the race for the role as head coach of the All Blacks ahead of Crusaders rugby coach Scott Robertson.

Ian Foster will be promoted from his role as an assistant coach to take on the top job as head coach of the All Blacks that was vacated by Steve Hansen, after this yeas Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan.

Ian Foster said that he was truly privileged and honoured to be given the opportunity and I can not wait to lead the team into the next chapter of what is a remarkable legacy.

Ian said I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved in the All Blacks over the last eight years and I am excited by a new coaching team who will join me.

Ian Foster had been an assistant coach to Steve Hansen since 2012, after a seven-year spell as coach of the Super Rugby Chiefs.
